Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Account Manager is primarily responsible for the achievement of annual revenue targets and specified gross margins from their base of accounts. This is achieved by proactively managing and developing existing key accounts to maximise their spending potential either through referrals as part of our partner programme, or as direct spend with Wirehive.
The Account Manager has overall responsibility for the development, management, implementation and maintenance of Strategic Account Plans for partners and large and enterprise brand accounts. In addition, the Account Manager is responsible for onboarding new accounts which have been won from a referral from existing partners or allocated to you from new business sales. Responsibility is also to identify New Business opportunities, through referrals from existing accounts, a network of contacts and associates and obtaining market intelligence.
Promote the Wirehive products and services to existing customers by nurturing relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels within the account, developing strong and consistent relationships.
Understand the clients’ business needs, objectives and practices to present compelling business propositions, concepts and ideas to solve client problems at senior and board level.
Develop strategic account plans for key customers and provide accurate and timely forecasts as required. Share these plans with the Client to demonstrate how Wirehive may support the client’s future plans and be an integral part of their own growth strategy.
Secure a consistent volume of new business revenue within your account base in line with monthly targets.
Complete designated sales and communication activities in your account base in line with the Company Sales Process and as directed by the Marketing Director.
Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to maintain an awareness of service escalations and get involved when service issues multiply or escalate to a secondary or commercial level.
Identify potential competitive threats and take timely and effective action to minimise them.
Secure the renewal of Wirehive’s services for periods of 12 months or greater at an equal or greater MRR than the prior contracted period.
Take opportunities to network within the Industry and specifically at events hosted by your agency partners.
At least 3 years – with recognition for success – in a B2B Sales environment in a technology or agency landscape
Strong experience gained around in hosting environments and current knowledge of cloud solutions
Evidence of personal development investment in a sales role
Strong Account Manager capabilities – communication, collaboration and promotion of differentiators and new products to retain long term relationships
Highly motivated with positive helpful attitude to customers and colleagues
Able to marshal and manage resources (people, funding, materials and support) to achieve customer engagement.

Degree, HND or suitable work experience
Must have a clean driving license and be able to travel
Live within a maximum of 1 hour’s travel from our Farnborough office
