Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for the achievement of quarterly lead generation targets and the management of partner engagement, digital marketing and brand communications. In consultation with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will need to work closely with our Event Manager and New Business team to create and manage campaigns and tactical activity to supplement our existing calendar of events and relationship marketing activity in order to support Wirehive’s ambitious growth objectives.
This role marks a diversification of Wirehive’s core strategy of relationship marketing and therefore offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to influence the future direction of lead generation in the business. You’ll need mastery of digital, inbound and outbound marketing best practice but, as a small and entrepreneurial business, we’ll expect you to have sufficient experience of the whole marketing mix to operate these in context of the wider business objectives. You’ll also need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into execution from updating the website to segmenting data and measuring ROI on campaigns.

Lead and opportunity generation for the new business team in target verticals
Management and development of the Wirehive Partner Programme for digital agencies including with-partner marketing activities
Increasing the volume, relevance and conversion of inbound traffic to the website through knowledge of organic SEO, paid media and content creation.
Creation and management of outbound email / account based marketing campaigns
Existing client and partner marketing communications
Collateral creation and maintenance in line with new product releases, service updates and evolving sales requirements
Budget and supplier management
Database purchase, maintenance and contact management in compliance with Data Protection and GDPR
Campaign and lead management and tracking through CRM
At least 3 years marketing experience, ideally in a technology / managed service company
An excellent track record of achieving lead generation targets
Passion for technology marketing and digital agency sector
Prior experience in channel marketing / managing a partnership programme would be desirable
Knowledge and demonstrable success of utilising inbound marketing techniques including SEO, content creation and distribution, and paid media
Experience and demonstrable success of delivering outbound campaigns to support business objectives
Ability to create compelling copy and communicate your ideas with exceptional verbal, written, presentation and skills
Understanding of how to measure, adapt and report on success of marketing activities to key stakeholders across the business
Technologically self-sufficient with strong knowledge of core office software, CRM applications and email marketing engines. Experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign highly desirable.
Minimum 5 GCSE A-C including English and maths
Degree or equivalent experience
Professional qualifications from Charted Institute of Marketing, Institute of Direct Marketing, Google and / or Hubspot highly desirable
