Wirehive
As part of our ongoing quest to be able to best serve our partners in the creative digital world we would like to announce a change to our account management team structure and leadership.
It has always been our goal to help digital agencies and their clients find the right managed technology solutions to their unique projects. To do this effectively we need to have honest, open, and effective relationships with our partners. As the agency landscape has shifted in recent years beyond design and build to more advanced services in digital transformation and emerging technologies, we have adapted to that change with new products and services of our own: our digital consultancy proposition and managed support on the three main hyperscale clouds. However, we’ve never just been about product and services. Therefore in parallel to these changes and we have re-structured our account management team to better support the continually evolving needs of our agency partners and the clients they refer to us.
The first change is that Kevin MacDonald moves into the role of Director of Strategic Relationships. Kevin has been with Wirehive for four and a half years and for that time has served as Sales Director, managing a team of dedicated account managers. His strengths have always been in developing and maintaining the effective relationships that are an integral part of how Wirehive acts, and his new role reflects that and allows him to focus on what he does best.
As Director of Strategic Relationships, he will act as a dedicated point of contact for all senior staff within the organisations we work with. Whether as a first engagement, or as a senior member of the team with the authority and ability to solve any problems that may have arisen.
All of our clients will retain their dedicated account manager. However, our account management team, under the oversight of Kevin, will now become the strategic hosting team, working much more collaboratively across all of our partners and customers. This means that if you have a requirement for a particular skill to support a pitch or specialist knowledge of a technology or platform you’ll have easier access to a wider pool of resources.
In reality this is not such a new structure, more of a recognition and formalisation of the fact that Kevin and his team have been working in this way for a while.
Wirehive is fundamentally about people and about relationships. We’re excited about this change and hope you’ll soon start to see the benefits of working with our strategic hosting team.
